Taskmaster VR has been announced and it is coming in 2024

Taskmaster VR has been announced for Steam and Meta, with the game expected to release in 2024. Taskmaster VR is based on the British version of the show where comedians compete in outlandish tasks for points, while being judged by Greg Davies and assisted, or ridiculing, Alex Horne.

Taskmaster VR’s official description reads,“Submit to the judgement of The Taskmaster in glorious virtual reality! The hit TV show comes to VR and YOU are the contestant. Step into the world of Taskmaster, endeavour to complete a menagerie of challenging and extraordinary tasks and get creative in how you solve them. Your time starts now!”

Players will have free roam on the Taskmaster house, and each challenge will have a number of ways to complete it. Both Greg Davies and Alex Horne have lent their voices to Taskmaster VR, and will be commenting on your performances. The trailer shows a few of the tasks that players will try to complete, including what looks like trolley bowling.

The specs for Taskmaster VR are as follows:

  • OS: Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8.1 or later, Windows 10
  • Processor: CPU: Intel i5-4590 equivalent or better
  • Memory: 4 GB RAM
  • Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 970, AMD Radeon R9 290 equivalent or better
  • Storage: 1 GB available space
  • Sound Card: N/A
  • VR Support: SteamVR
  • Additional Notes: VR Only!

From the heady days of the Mega Drive up until the modern day gaming has been my main hobby. I'll give almost any game a go.
