The Aplril 2024 PlayStation Plus monthly games have been confirmed, with Sony pulling together a trio of games for all PS Plus subscribers – Essentials, Extra and Premium. Headlining this month’s selection is the magic-infused FPS Immortals of Aveum, but what else is coming down the pipe?

What are the PS Plus April 2024 games?

Back to usual, the following three games will be available from the first Tuesday, 2nd April.

  • Immortals of Aveum (PS5)
  • Minecraft Legends (PS4 | PS5)
  • Skul: The Hero Slayer (PS4)

Aran give a score of 7/10 in our Immortals of Aveum review. “Immortals of Aveum is the epitome of a good game,” he said. “The characters are well-acted and the world design is fantastic. The story though feels too safe and there’s no real wow moment. While the combat is fun too, you’ll have seen the majority of enemy types quite early on, and combat does become repetitive.”

There was a bit of intrigue leading up to the release of Immortals of Aveum, with EA publishing a good old fashions narrative-led first person shooter. Unfortunately, the game launched with underwhelming sales, significantly underperforming expectations. That’s why it’s now on PS Plus half a year after launch…

Alongside that you have the strategy twist of Minecraft Legends, which is well worth checking out as post-launch development winds downsee our review here for why – and the 2D action platformer boasts roguelike of Skul: The Hero Slayer.

What do you think of this month’s offering?
