Sony’s got a festering batch of games for the PlayStation Plus Monthly Games in November 2026, set to arrive a handful of days after Halloween and bringing out the undead, plundering tombs, and jumping on trains filled with monsters!
What are the PS Plus November 2026 Monthly Games?
Technically we’re getting five games this month, thanks to one of them being a remaster compilation, but let’s see what they are:
- Dead Island 2 | PS5, PS4
- Tomb Raider IV – VI Remastered | PS5, PS4
- Monster Train 2 | PS5
Dead Island 2 is clearly the biggest game here, having gone through multiple dev cycles until it reached its final form in 2023, as an almost surprisingly good open world zombie bashing sequel. In our review, I said, “Dead Island 2 does a great job of reanimating this dormant zombie-battling series, with the gore-filled combat and excessive weaponry that goes well with the oversaturated LA setting. It’s an enjoyable romp, but at the same time, ironically feels like it’s playing it safe.”
Tomb Raider IV – VI Remastered is…. well, it’s a remaster of a second trio of Tomb Raider games from the PS1, lightly spruced up for modern systems visually, and with attempts to wrest the games away from the tank controls of the originals. Of course, it also includes the series jump to the PS2 with Angel of Darkness. Alas, they’re not as iconic and beloved as the original trilogy.
Gamoc said, “Whilst these remakes bring the second Tomb Raider trilogy to modern systems, but they simply can’t match up to the original trilogy – Chronicles and Angel of Darkness in particular were let downs when they released originally. I can’t see this remaster gaining these games any new fans, especially since they control like some kind of device that exists to torture game developers that specialise in traversal mechanics.
And finally we round things out by choo-choo-chooosing Monster Train 2, a deck-building sequel that builds and grows down some new tracks. Jason explains, “Monster Train 2 takes place after the first game – shocking, I know – and has you teaming up with some former angels who were previously fighting against to try and take out the mighty Titans who’ve taken control of Heaven. It’s basically an excuse to go up to Heaven instead of down to the depths of Hell, but you’ve still got to protect your Pyre to succeed.”
Can you still get the October 2026 PS Plus Monthly Games?
