As we tick on over into November – do months tick? – it immediately starts to feel like the end of the year is racing up on us. There’s still an awful lot of video games to go between now and then. Heck, there’s a whole new games console coming out next week!

We’re only just getting started on Dragon Age: The Veilguard, but still had a great crop of reviews, all in that “very good” range, but with Black Ops 6 proving to be one of the best Call of Duty games in a long time.

Elsewhere, I got to crack some whips and punch some fascists in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, which I’m really keen to see more of, and continued with a preview of the archeological delights of Two Point Museum. I delved into the spookiness of Phasmophobia’s console launch, and checked out the Fortnite experiment that is LEGO Dark Space.
Dom revisited Darksiders 2 with its current gen upgrade and found that it’s still one of the best games, and Aran took a step back in time to sink into some wet stuff with a Playback of Phasmophobia: Prophecy.
Steve looked ahead to the future of horror games with eight examples that have him rather excited.
Rounding things out as always, What We Played featured Black Ops 6, The Smurfs – Dreams and Monster Hunter Wilds.
