Something for the Weekend – 18/04/26

It’s been a busy old week for me, and I’m glad for the weekend with sunny weather and the start of the World Endurance Championship at Imola. Six hours of roaring prototypes and GT3 cars is going to be great tomorrow.

But I mustn’t forget to play and write about some of the game’s I’ve seen recently – look out for Heave Ho 2, which I had a raucously good time playing at London Game Fest – and have on the go for review. Hopefully I find some more time for Pragmata too!

In the News This Week

There were some announcements during the Galaxies showcase, where we’ve picked a few to feature, as well as the reveal of an eagerly awaited sequel.

Games in Review & Featured Articles

Another very rich week for reviews, and while Pragmata is obviously the pick of the bunch, there’s plenty of other games that might draw your attention.

Beyond that, Dom put a vibrating vest on once again to review the Woojer Vest 4, and augmented our main Pragmata review by taking a look at the Switch 2 release, which is a thoroughly enjoyable rendition of this game.

Aran revisited Hades II for the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S release, and absolutely loved his time in it, while the We Were Here Tomorrow’s PC demo gave me just enough of a taste to get me very interested.

Finishing up for the week, What We Played featured Pragmata, Dosa Divas & Cthulhu: The Cosmic Abyss.
