Fuse Games and publisher Secret Mode have announced that Star Wars: Galactic Racer will launch across PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC on 6th October 2026. There’s a new trailer for this, and this game continues to look pretty fab!
Curiously, they describe this as a “runs-based Star Wars racing adventure”, which feels like there’s a little bit of something that has yet to be fully described about the way the story or single player will unfold. What we do know is that you’re going to be racing in the unsanctioned Galactic League in the Outer Rim. You’ll be the mysterious pilot Shade, able to make alliances, kick off rivalries and hold grudges. You’ll be able to build a repulsorcraft in various styles to cater to your racing approach, as well as pilot podracers as made famous by Episode 1.
And of course you’ll be able to take this online with up to 12 players in multiplayer racing, just battling it out for supremacy.
Star Wars: Galactic Racer is now available for pre-order, with those that do grabbing a bonus livery that can be applied to landspeeders, speeder bikes, or skim speeders, the colour of which depends on platform. You’ll also get a free Player Banner.
There’s also a Deluxe Edition for £54 / $80 /€80 which grands the the Kor Sarun: Darc X landspeeder, Kor Sarun: Ciza T speeder bike, and Kor Sarun: Rak S skim speeder, three deluxe Arcade events designed for these vehicles, the Deluxe Livery Pack with unique designs for all of your vehicles, and some online bits and bobs. It’s rounded out with a digital art book.
And the most die hard will want the physical collectors eddition for £140 / $160 / €160, which has a physical model of the Kor Sarun: Darc X landspeeder, a physical banner for Galactic League champion Kestar Bool, two pilot patches, a physical copy of the art book, and a custom slip cover and steel case for the game. It includes all of the Deluxe Edition digital bits as well.
