When May rolls around, it brings with it the most important night in Polish game development, the Digital Dragons Awards. This yearly event, focused on developers, publishers and tech companies, showcases the biggest Polish games of the last year, as well as highlighting both indie and international games too. This year’s biggest winner was the exceptional Cronos: The New Dawn, taking home the coveted Polish Game of the Year 2026.
This year saw a number of incredible games from Polish studios. Up for many of the main awards were big hitters like Techland’s Dying Light: The Beast, Bloober Team’s Cronos: The New Dawn, and 11 Bit Studio’s The Alters. Joining them were indie darlings such as Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon and sci-fi FPS Metal Eden, showcasing just how vibrant and strong the Polish game development scene is.
