NetEase has shared a new trailer for their historical epic, Blood Message, promising that the first hands on opportunities are coming during Summer Game Fest this week.
Blood Message is set in the late Tang Dynasty in 848 AD, casting players as a nameless messenger on a journey eastward to deliver a message that can change the fate of his homeland. The trailer shows his relationship with his son, both in the time before strife befell the lands, and now with his son journeying alongside him.
The game takes the pair 1000 miles across China including deserts and the wilderness to deliver a message that could change the fate of the country during Dunhuang’s uprising. As the Blood Message trailer shows, you will need to fight against powerful enemies and deal with natural dangers that could take you out.
