Nintendo have dropped a new trailer showing some of the features found Splatoon Raiders, the new single player game in the Splatoon series.
The story takes us away from the big cities to the Spirhalite Islands, where Deep Cut are heading out to hunt for treasure (and defeat tons of bad guys). You’ll customise your character with various mechanical gadgets and the ink-splatting guns that have made the series so iconic, and battle against waves of Salmonids while searching the islands for salvage.
The video begins by showing players their base, the Hideout ship, which travels around the Spirahlite Islands searching for treasure. Your character, the Mechanic, will be accompanied by the Exploration Bot, a mech that can be piloted by players and attacks automatically. There are also a bunch of gadgets which give you bonus powers and attacks.
A Splatoon Raiders Direct will be broadcast on June 30th with more information.
Splatoon Raiders now set for a 23rd July launch, exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2.
