SpaceCraft now has a solo offline mode

A couple of weeks SpaceCraft, the online multiplayer space exploration and building game was launched into early access. The main sell of the game is that players will explore a galaxy, create corporations together, and build a vast economy that spans the stars. Now, after receiving some community feedback, Shiro Games has added a solo offline mode for players that just want to explore and take things at their own pace.

The new offline solo mode in SpaceCraft is separate to the online side, with separate progression for each mode. The offline mode does not have Nexus trading, corporation rankings, and other multiplayer-connected systems. However, there are other changes that improve things for those diving into the solo mode with crafting time of Assemblers in space bases reduced, extractor speed in space bases have been increased, production facilities pause when exiting the game, and resumes when reloaded. In a blog post, Shiro team wrote, “Solo Offline Mode has been one of the most requested features since the beginning of Early Access, and we’re thrilled to finally bring it to the game. This update is a direct result of your feedback, and we want to thank everyone who took the time to share their thoughts, suggestions, and ideas with us. Your feedback continues to shape the future of SpaceCraft, and we’ll keep listening as we work toward delivering the best possible experience. Thank you for being part of this journey. See you among the stars, Pioneers.”

SpaceCraft is currently available in early access on Steam for £24.99.
