A hot new trailer for Final Fantasy VII Revelation has been released, building up to the epic finale of the remake trilogy. It even has paragliding!
The central theme of game is ‘resolve’, as Cloud and his friends move to the conclusion of the game, a giant meteor hanging above their heads. The Highwind airship will allow you to travel across the map, and you can jump off with a parachute to any location at any point. New characters include Vincent Valentine and Sid Highwind, and there’s a new costume armour system called FITS which gives you different boosts and abilities.
Final Fantasy VII Revelation was revealed with no less than three trailers as part of Summer Games Fest 2026.

Our review for the next instalment, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, was equally well received, scoring 9/10 in 2024. “Really the biggest problem you’ll have once the credits roll is knowing that it will be far too many years before we can finish the trilogy,” noted Nic.
The game will launch simultaneously on all platforms, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Switch 2, in Spring 2027.
