Mayhem Games has announced that We Were Here Tomorrow will launch on 20th October across PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, this latest game putting a sci-fi spin on the series’ co-op puzzling.
The new trailer digs into a bit more of what to expect while venturing through the Norček Industries facility. There’s a retro-futiristic world here, with new tools for players to use, new characters, and the latest iteration of the series’ communication-led asymmetrical co-op puzzling.
We checked out an early Steam Next Fest demo a few months ago, enjoying this new spin on the game. I said, “All in all, We Were Here Tomorrow’s demo gave a nice glimpse of where this co-op staple is heading. It’s nice to have proximity chat, it’s interesting to have player-specific abilities, and the retro futuristic sci-fi and synth-led soundtrack go hand-in-hand with the chunky visual art style and purple hues of this opening facility.”
