New Halo 4 Details Leaked By Retail Training Quiz

Microsoft does a great job of getting the people who sell its games up to speed. Part of that process is a website called ExpertZone, which provides loads of information on a range of Microsoft products. It’s intended to teach retailers the answers to questions that customers might be asking during in-store conversations. Well, now it seems to have leaked a few interesting snippets of info about the next Halo game.

According to several slides, rounded up by fansite LittleEnglishHaloBlog, there are new weapons and vehicles on the way. There are also set to be 50 extra missions in the episodic delivery system they’re calling Spartan Ops. We’ve seen two of those new weapons already, of course. E3 showed the scattershot and the light rifle, both Forerunner weapons, alongside the Promethean knight which is presumably the new Elite class of enemy. The new vehicles remain unknown.

There’s also some new snippets about the multiplayer, with hints towards some form of clan system and 10 maps confirmed for the competitive multiplayer with DLC adding more.

Here are all the slides, why not give LittleEnglishHaloBlog a click for digging all this up.

  1. Spartan Ops really is the killer feature for Halo 4 I feel. Doing episodic content right.

  2. Why does nothing ever leak for games that i know im going to get

    • what are you getting dude? I’ll make something up for you ;)

      • Borderlands 2 , Hitman , anything Skyrim related, ll believe anything :D

      • My sources that Todd howard and his crew are working on a massive expansion about rabbits as well as the true origins of the arrow in the knee. Apparently, the Dovahkin will have to take on the Arrow in the Kneekin. I’ll go grab my coat for that awful joke.

  3. I’m so glad I got a friend with a 360, so I don’t have to buy one to play this game. It’ll have split-screen right? Because that’s Halo at its finest, combined with legendary difficulty and poor to average skills.

    • Woha, double post. Stupid smartphone! Sorry about that, delete one at will.

  5. Be interesting if this ties into the books (the Forerunner ones that is).

    • It looks like it’s going to tie into both of the trilogies they’ve got going at the moment.
