New Super Mario Bros 2: DLC Announced And Priced

Nintendo have announced (via the above ‘Nintendo Direct Mini’) video a set of DLC for the 3DS New Super Mario Bros 2.

They’ve also just sent over pricing:

  • Gold Rush Pack (£2)
  • Coin Challenge Pack A (£2)
  • Nerve-Wrack Pack (£2)

You can also buy a “three pack” containing the above DLC for, er, £6.

  1. How handy for them to just bundle the packs into one cart.. just for £6!

    • Haha, that’ll be a toughie to decide on the bundle or individual purchases…..spoilt for choice really :P

  2. “The. English man. Narrating. This may. Or may not. Have. A computer. For a brain.”

Does this come across to anyone else like Nintendo think they have invented the concept of DLC?…

  3. Damn, Andross got smart, now he’s got glasses so you can’t shoot his eyes.

  4. It’s the end of the world as we know it when Nintendo starts selling incomplete games, just to charge players later to get the missing parts. Funny question: are those modes hidden in the game card, or is Nintendo really adding something new to the game. I wouldn’t be surprised if those were just unlock codes to save memory space.

    • i guess we’ll never know if they’re already included in the game or they are genuine add ons until somebody downloads them and checks the size.

except, as they’re probably just level layouts using a set of preset objects so the downloads won’t be very big anyway.
