Earlier tonight it was confirmed that Minecraft would be heading to the PlayStation 4. Now we know that Mojang’s phenomenally successful creative title will also be heading to the PS3 and PS Vita.
The news was confirmed by Adam Boyes, who is part of Sony’s Publisher & Developer Relations team , via Twitter.
Minecraft is coming to PS3, PS4 & PS Vita to be clear. Ee’rybody gettin’ some Minecraft action.

So there you have it. Minecraft hitting all of Sony’s latest consoles, and it will surely be a success.

When this was announced for PS4, I was gutted it wasn’t for Vita so this is really good news. It is potentially a massive system seller for Vita – if Sony actually tell people about it.
Also, it’s just “Minecraft” everywhere for PlayStation so does that mean it’s not the cut down, simplified version that made up the “Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition”?
