Sony have released their own version of Lou Reed’s “Perfect Day” which includes The Elder Scrolls Online, Drive Club and Killzone Shadow Fall.

I am not sure Lou Reed was thinking about PlayStation 4 games when he wrote the song but it works rather well, what do you think?

The advert coincides with launch of Sony’s “Greatness Awaits” PS4 web site, which you can access here.

  1. Really cool, wasn’t expecting it to be live action!

  2. Sony really getting a grip on their marketing, change of PR company has been a good move.

    • Getting a PR company was a good move, the work experience team was never going to work!

  3. A bit daft but a bit splendid too. :-)

  4. They shouldn’t have sang, the singing was bad but good ad though

  5. Great ad. Only 44 days left for us UK residents. Cant wait

    • didnt realise it was so close, i’ve just kind of put it to the back of my mind!

  6. Keeping the games industry tradition of showing no game footage. Quite funny ad though.

    • What about the Kevin Butler commercials, those usually showed gameplay?

  7. I was expecting it to be cringeworthy but that was very funny, a great contrast of big budget and daft. It reminds me of those noob ads with the tubby guy from Superbad.

  8. Loved it. Especially the singing which I wasn’t expecting at all.

  9. Great advertisement that!

  10. 29th Nov will indeed be a perfect day!! Really good advert though too :)
