While we’re all still waiting for a proper ranking system, the latest Killzone Shadow Fall patch brings a few sought-after features, including clan support, which launched through the website last week.
That means you can invite clan members to your party and clan tags will be supported in-match, or on the menus in-game on the player cards. The layout of the multiplayer menu has also changed, not to accommodate clans but to add a bar for creating new Warzones, as well as making existing variations easily discoverable.
Those Warzone settings can be tweaked, and you can choose whether or not to allow parties into your match along with the abundance of other settings and modifiers available.
In terms of single player, there are now more checkpoints implemented, after every revive event, which means more save points throughout the game. You’re now also able to lock the framerate to 30FPS in campaign mode, rather than it varying between that and 60FPS.
Along with all of this new functionality, the patch fixes a few bugs, including the VC30 exploit which oddly increased the range when using the flashlight attachment.

Increased range with a flashlight makes perfect sense. It would help the bullets see where they’re going!

Now that we have the option i’ll be interested in seeing what difference it makes for me to turn on or off the 30fps lock. More checkpoints will help too.

I am interested to see if the 30fps is useful or not, I have not played much campaign on this, can anyone advise on whether I should put this on or not for the best experience, does it slow down a lot?
