It’s that time of year where the games industry leaks like a broken pipe, and the latest drop appears to confirm that Dark Souls 3 is in development, and that it will be out sooner that you think. According to some promo E3 art somehow obtained by IGN the third entry will be launching Early 2016. Of course no one of From Software has yet confirmed the existence of the game.
If this is real then we will most likely get information from one of the main conferences, with my bet going on the Sony conference. Still since Dark Souls is a multiplatform series there shouldn’t be any reason as to why the third entry won’t appear on both Sony’s & Microsoft’s consoles, as well as PC. Not unless someone has sprung for a third party exclusivity deal.

I’m pretty sure it’s real, since I heard it announced a few days ago on a Youtube video from a reliable creator that included numerous supposed screenshots in-game. If they were real, it looked pretty decent.

From Software have a 2-team development system, so this has probably been in development since Dark Souls 2.
