A new trailer has been released for Total War: Warhammer and this one focuses on the dwarves, showing that these guys can really hold a grudge against all those that displease them. The introduction of the dwarves adds a new element to the Total War franchise, and that is underground battles. For the first time in the series’ history subterranean warfare will be an option.
The dwarves have access to black powder artillery weapons and air support in the form of the Everpeak Aircorps, which could potentially add an interesting dyanmic to the Total War series. The trailer is narrated by the character High King Thorgrim Grudgebearer, leader of the Dwarves as he pores over the Book of Grudges seeing who needs to meet his army in battle.
Total War: Warhammer will be playable at EGX later this month, with the game set to release in 2016.
