Sony’s festive promotion comes to a close with a deal on one the most popular games of the season, Fallout 4. The discount takes the regular version of the game down to £32.99, which is still higher than the price at GAME who have it on special offer at £29.99. However, the Digital Deluxe edition which includes the £24.99 season pass is reduced to £49.99, which is a couple of quid cheaper than both GAME and Amazon.

Digital deal is good, I much prefer digital games and usually pay a bit extra for them, so a couple of quid over the best price around isn’t bad.

I’m exact opposite. My hdd is always getting full so forever having to delete stuff to make room for me newest purchase. At least if it’s a disc game, I don’t have to wait 9 hours for it to re-download next time I wanna play it. I only have a few games digitally that are also available on disc (Injustice, Battlefield 4, NFS Rivals, FIFA15) and that’s just because they were cheap.

Again not interested, I class a deal in a very different manner to Sony in this regard and there are numerous places selling fallout for £27.99 now. I imagine it will not be that successful for them this year, and I do grow more concerned that their strength in the current market of consoles is making them not push so hard in terms of promotions etc.
Steam Sale this year is not fantastic, however its a world apart from Sony offerings.

12 days of nothing for me! Best deals this xmas have been at Argos. Tearaway £11, Evil Within £11, Dishonoured £7.50, Wolfenstein Old Blood £7.50, etc..

Surely most who were interested in Fallout 4 have bought it by now, and for less than this sale price?
Well, this sale has saved me a tonne of money this year… I’ve not bought anything! The prices just haven’t been low enough to truly be considered “a sale” in my opinion. Most of the games have been available elsewhere, cheaper :-(
Ah well, maybe the post Christmas sales will convince me to part with some cash…
