Innervision Games Reveals Thunderbird For VR

Innervision has announced Thunderbird for PSVR and HTC Vive, with the game taking inspiration from the Myst series. The game will release in an episodic format with a total of three or four coming out, and each will released between every four to six months. Currently each chapter will run at least an hour. Thunderbird’s world is inspired by myths from across the world.

Thunderbird has two different modes to compensate for the differences between the Vive and PSVR, with the Vive build utilising full room scale while the PSVR edition is built to work in smaller spaces. There isn’t a solid release date yet, but sometime in the summer is the target for Innervision.

  1. As a teaser trailer goes, that was pretty awful. It looks like it was filmed by an idiot with iPhone in portrait mode (I have a theory as to why it’s almost always iPhone users who do this) and the gameplay consisted of pointing a light at a switch.

    • It’s a single screen output from the 3D display, which are not your usual “widescreen” tv formats. Hence odd dimensions.

  2. When is Sony unveiling the release date and price for PSVR, starting to get worried its going to miss their initial Q1 release!
