Devil May Cry 5 Listed On Actor’s CV

Actor Nils Hognestad, who many of you will recognise from his supporting role in, uhm, Lake Placid 3, has listed Devil May Cry under the voice acting section of his CV. Well, he had, it has since been quickly removed for reasons unknown, although the reason is almost certainly a very shouty phone call from Capcom.

The last DmC game was the rebooted DmC: Devil May Cry, but that was set in an alternate universe and not connected to the ongoing series. A year ago Hideaki Itsuno, director of Devil May Cry’s 2,3 and 4, explained that the original series would continue.

“After Devil May Cry 4 came out and then Ninja Theory’s DMC: Devil May Cry followed it, some fans were disappointed and felt the main series had ended,” he said. “But I’m glad that the message is out there with Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition that the main series is not over, and that DMC: Devil May Cry did not kill it.”
