There’s a fresh batch of content coming to Rocket League next week, as Psyonix add a free new map to the game, a new premium DLC car, and new training features in the Starbase ARC update on Wednesday 7th November.
The new map is an homage to Psynoix’s mobile game, ARC Squadron – not Halo, as you might have thought from seeing a ring world – with an octagonal space station orbiting a desert planet. Lasers shoot, starships battle and celestial bodies get just a little too close for comfort. Alongside this is the new Vulcan Battle-Car, which will set you back $1.99, if you want a fresh new look for your vehicle
Custom Training mode is a new feature for those looking to improve their car footballing abilities, letting people create their own training sequences and share them online. More details of this can be found here, while those on PC can look forward to being able to use Unreal Engine 3 SDK to create custom levels for the game and share them via Steam Workshop.

Is that meant to read Wednesday 7th December? Don’t mean to sound pedantic (even though that’s exactly how it comes across)!
