The stories nestled within each game of Stellaris were one of my favourite things about Paradox Interactive’s latest grand strategy title, and now there’s one more. Penned by Alexis Kennedy, best known for the game Sunless Sea and founding Failbetter Games, Horizon Signal is a free story added as DLC alongside the 1.4 update.
There’s something out there that quite simply loves your empire, but what does it really want?
The DLC should be added automatically as Steam updates the game to version 1.4. The patch, named after Kennedy, is primarily a bug fixing and balancing update as opposed to adding new features. You can see the changelog here.
