IO-Interactive has confirmed that to mark the physical release of Hitman it’s going to celebrate by making things harder. On January 31st a new difficulty option in the form of Professional will unlock,though it won’t be available unless you’ve hit Mastery Level 20. Professional will make it so guards notice you carrying suspicious items, disguises that can be ruined depending on how they’ve been acquired so a blood stain may be all that is needed to alert guards. Cameras will have new rules applied to them and there will limited save options.
The Professional difficulty can be set for any of Hitman’s story missions except for the game’s prologue. Hitman will release on disc for PS4, PC and Xbox One on January 31st.
