Rebellion has released a free update today for Battlezone which has added some new maps, a new weapon, a new enemy type, and difficulty options. Players can now choose Beginner and Extreme difficulty options on top of the more standard affair. Completing Extreme mode will net players a new trophy as well as three new tank loadouts, though only run is unlocked per run.
The new missions are lava based and will pop up near the end of a campaign run, with new Conquest and King Of The Hill missions part of that roster. A new enemy type has been added in the shape of the Jet which can be taken on with the new railgun weapon. There’s also some extras you can pay for with those being tank skins and bobbleheads, with Rebellion releasing a Rogue Trooper head this week.
