The PS Blog has just put up a small preview for the upcoming Uncharted 4 expansion Lost Legacy, and in it we get a few more details. In terms of where Lost Legacy will fit in with the Uncharted timeline the events here are set between six months and a year after the main plot of Uncharted 4. In this time frame Nadine’s private mercenary group Shoreline has collapsed making her desperate for money. This puts her on the path to join up with Chloe who is hunting for the Tusk of Ganesha in southern India.
The two characters aren’t friends though and are allied more through need, though both have their own reasons for having the Tusk in their possession. However they are up against the warlord Asav who has the Tusk, and he isn’t willing to give it up without a fight. The Lost Legacy will also feature the biggest areas seen in the Uncharted games so far, outdoing some of the areas in Uncharted 4.
For those of you who are hoping the Nathan Drake will appear even briefly should forget about that. It has been confirmed he will not be present in the Lost Legacy story, though characters like Sully and Samuel aren’t ruled out in the preview. Players will have the option of using a silenced pistol and C4 in the campaign too. The Lost Legacy’s length will fall between The Last Of Us’ Left Behind DLC and the Uncharted 4 campaign, which is a big gap.

Bigger levels than Uncharted 4?
Bigger than the Madagascar one? Took me forever to find everything in that level.

The thing I loved about the first two games was that they were exciting, lighthearted adventures. The third and fourth games were seriously serious and IMO lacked the fun factor that raised the first two games above everything else. All the games are great but I hope they bring back a little bit of what made the first two games so special.

Loved 1 & 2, but I wasn’t a big fan of the 3rd or 4th. I was at least expecting some kind of undead pirates in the 4th to jazz things up a bit. Apart from looking great, I found the whole thing pretty boring.
