Here’s a blast from the past. The studio Accolade has marked its return by announcing a new game in the Bubsy franchise, with the full title being Bubsy: The Woolies Strike Back. No, it isn’t do to with the defunct Woolworths brand in the UK. Nope this is a return of Bubsy after a 21 year hiatus, and it has to be one of the biggest surprises we’ve had for a while. The new game is coming to PS4 and PC this autumn.
There’s glimpses of gameplay in the trailer, and it does seem a bit slow and floaty. That could change though by the time Bubsy: The Woolies Strike Back actually releases.
