Die-hard Friday The 13th fans are paying over £400 for an exclusive Jason Vorhees skin. The skin, designed by special effects artist Tom Savini, was given to those who backed the game on Kickstarter during its crowdfunding campaign in 2015. To be more specific, this hellish character costume was unlocked for anyone that pledged $65 or more.
If you were there to show your support on day one, you might want to hold off redeeming that skin code. This past week several have sold at auction for up to £380 (there’s another one currently at £410).
That’s some crazy money, especially when you consider how little time you spend playing as Jason. With eight spaces in each match, there’s a 12.5% you’ll get to show off your Tom Savini swag.
In fairness, as far as character skins go, this one’s pretty dope.
