Ghost Recon Wildlands PvP Multiplayer Launches On 10th October

Ghost Recon Wildlands ruled the retail charts earlier this year, clearly attracting a broad and perhaps somewhat unexpected audience – then again, everyone loves shaking down drug barons. As part of its post-release plans, Ubisoft have long said that they would be adding player versus player multiplayer to go alongside the co-op that makes the heart of the game, and after an open beta that ran last weekend, they’ve now announced that it will be added as a free update to the game on 10th October.

Ghost War sets two teams of four against each other in team deathmatch, but with the tactical backing of the Ghost Recon game, large open maps and the addition of twelve classes to pick between in three categories – Assault, Marksman and Support.

It’s not the end of support, and they will support this particular mode over time. Lucian Istrate, Lead Game Designer at Ubisoft Bucharest said, “We are excited to be continue to refine and expand Ghost War after its launch. Expect more classes, more maps, and even new modes to be added in the future!”
