The European PlayStation blog has posted a couple of charts recapping the biggest selling games of 2017 and as you might have guessed FIFA and Call of Duty take the top two slots. Rocket League comes in third, beating the juggernaut that is Grand Theft Auto V, with Crash Bandicoot rounds out the top five.
ARK: Survival Evolved has done well at 7th place with EA Sports UFC 2, which is two years old, grabbing ninth place. Star Wars Battlefront beats Battlefront II as the original was on sale for about three pounds, and Batman takes top spot in the PSVR chart with the recently released SuperHot VR chasing close behind. You may note that the VR chart includes a number of “experiences” rather than full games, so it looks like there is a market for that sort of thing.
Here are the full charts for 2017, along with links just in case you fancy buying the products.

Little bit saddening that only 3 of the top 10 are exclusives, I subjectively think sony’s 2017 exclusive lineup smashed the quality of third party offerings.
But I guess that’s not what sells games.
