I’ve always got a soft spot for the batty names that Warhammer games often get and it’s getting close to peak Warhammer ridiculousness with the start of “Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2 Pre-Order Beta 2” next week on 15th January. This will be available to play until launch on 24th January, and it’s a hefty chunk of the game.
It will feature the first sectors of the Imperial and Necron faction campaigns, but the full multiplayer and skirmish options, including the 12 factions, 80+ subfactions, ranked play, custom maps, and the updated balance that’s improved from the first beta. Of course, you have to pre-order the game to get this, so it’s essentially paid early access.
