Battlefleet Gothic Armada 2 Sets A Course For A January 2019 Release

Battlefleet Gothic Armada’s video game spin on the tabletop game was a pretty good one, but if one thing held it back for Warhammer 40,000 fans, it was that it was quite limited in the number of races it had. The sequel will have no such problems when it launches, with practically every 40K race in the game.

Today Focus Home Interactive have announced that the game will be coming out for PC on 24th January 2019, and will be preceded by two beta tests for those pre-ordering the game. There’s a 10% discount for doing so, and in a nice touch a 25% discount for those who own the first game.

The first beta will kick off in early December featuring all 12 factions, the multiplayer progression system, custom games, 2v2, 1v1 and versus AI battles. In addition, custom fleets will let you mix and match factions, for some truly weird alliances. Beta 2 will follow in January, with everything from the first beta as well as the Campaign Prologue and the first sectors of two of the campaigns.
