Compete in the Ultimate Mech Tournament when Wolfstride releases

During Guerrilla Collective Ota Imon Studios and Raw Fury revealed a new mech combat game called Wolfstride. Wolfstride is a turn based combat RPG where the battles pitch two mechs against each other in the Ultimate Mech Tournament. In the game, players will have to compete in fights, maintain and repair their mech, and explore Rain City to take on some jobs to earn money. Check out the announcement trailer below.

Here is Wolfstride’s summary:

An exiled ex-Yakuza, a rookie combat pilot, and a grizzled mechanic team up to compete in the Ultimate Mech Tournament. Use skills and weapons to defeat other mechs in turn-based tactical combat. Make your way to the top by managing repairs, upgrading weapons, and learning new moves. Get to know the locals in a world caught between the last gasps of a simpler time and the shimmering metal of a sprawling metropolis. Build relationships, get job offers, and make that money to fight another day.

The money earned from jobs taken in Wolfstride can be used to upgrade the mech to suit a play style. In battles players will have both action points and movement points. Movement points are used to move around your opponent while action points allow you to unleash attacks. Ota Imon, the development studio, is based in Sao Paulo and is made up of two brothers who are colourblind which is a reason why the team has chosen the black and white aesthetic.

A release date for Wolfstride is yet to be confirmed.
