PS Plus Extra & Premium November library update – Skyrim, R6 Siege & all of Kingdom Hearts

Kingdom Hearts 3 Header

Sony has revealed the November update for the PS Plus Extra & Premium game catalogues, all set to be added on Tuesday 15th November. As previously revealed, there’s a whole bunch of Ratchet & Clank games, but there’s also Skyrim, R6 Siege and more to hop into.

For JRPG fans, the biggest new games coming to the PlayStation Plus library are the Kingdom Hearts series games. This includes the entire saga to date, through the HD remasters to Kingdom Hearts 3 and Melody of Memory.

Rainbow Six Siege isn’t the only Ubisoft game, either, with both Ghost Recon Breakpoint and The Division 2 continuing Ubisoft’s support of the serivice. Oh, and make sure to check out the space shooter Chorus. It’s pretty good!

As for this month’s Classics? Well, if you’re hoping for any love for the PS1 and PSP range on offer, you might as well stop reading. It’s Ratchet & Clank from top to bottom.

Below is the full list of games coming to PS Plus this month.

What are the other PS Plus Free Monthly Games in November?

Long before the PS Plus Extra and Premium catalogue updates, we’ve had a trio of new games added to the PlayStation Plus Essential service. These include Nioh 2 & a whole lot of Lego Harry Potter. Find out more about November’s free monthly games here.

What actually is PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium?

The PlayStation Plus relaunch rolled out around the world in June, transforming the PS Plus we once knew into a three tiered subscription service that bundles in and expands what was once PlayStation Now. The classic PS Plus is now called PS Plus Essential, giving access to online multiplayer gaming, cloud save backups, exclusive offers and at least 2 free monthly games. PS Plus Extra then adds a catalogue of PS4 and PS5 games into the mix, while PS Plus Deluxe and Premium (depending on your region) adds older PS2, PS1 and PSP game emulation, and game streaming for PS3 and other titles.

Sony seems to be settling into a rhythm with the PS Plus monthly games for all subscribers rolling out on the first Tuesday of each month, before a library update for the Game Catalogue comes in the middle of the month two weeks later.

  1. Cool..! Chorus has been on my wishlist for a while, and a couple of the other games are interesting too. So many games, so little time…

  2. Chorus was on my “I tried the demo, quite liked it, forgot to get around to buying it” list.

8 Kingdom Hearts games (plus 3 as just the cut scenes) is probably fun for someone who hasn’t played it. Just spread them out and don’t play them all at once. It’s not like forgetting what happened makes much difference to the story being a deranged mess after the first one. I’ve got “2.8 Final Chapter Prologue” (stupid names!) to look forward to, and the musical one.

And some EDF and the Gardens Between looks interesting.

All a lot better than the “essential” games this month. Apart from Nioh 2, that was a bit shit. Must be the worst Lego game ever. Although I did laugh when there’s a whole level with men in the ladies bathroom. I thought the horrible woman didn’t like that sort of thing?
