In what we’re accounting to a fleeting – and unlikely to be repeated – sign of weakness in the 21st Century Console Wars, Microsoft Product Director Aaron Greenberg has acclaimed rival Sony’s continued strong performance in both the hardware and software markets.
Commenting on March’s NPD data, Greenberg tweeted the following:
“Another strong month, solid number two on hardware sales and growing again year-on-year. Kudos to [SCEA’s] Patrick Seybold for some strong software sales.”
What’s next? Peace in the Middle East? Coke and Pepsi admiring each other’s cola? Keep an eye out for the locusts, people. For this is the end of days.
