Yep. Another day, another regurgitation of that rumour. This time it looks like Ubisoft themselves are preparing for the inevitable release of Splinter Cell: Conviction on the PS3. You know, the console the game is definitely not coming to.
The new smoking gun? An eagle-eyed (and possibly disgruntled) consumer who has spotted the game’s listing over at Ubisoft’s support centre. Check it out for yourself, you’ll clearly see Splinter Cell: Conviction quoted as a game Ubisoft’s support staff are just itching to answer your queries on. Like, “What’s the game’s PS3Â release date?”
Alas, though the support site is quite comprehensive in mitigating most of your gaming woes, the option “Microsoft stole my childhood” is not available in the drop-down menu of known issues.
