Though Ubisoft lead software engineer Marc Demers may have since removed the word “PS3” from his resumé in relation to his work on Splinter Cell: Conviction, it appears another Ubisoft Montréal employee, Michael Donnell, a 3D animator, has either also repeated this particular typographical slip-up, or, and bear with us here a second, a PS3 version actually exists. Interestingly, it would appear Michael has also since updated his profile, removing the evidence of any Sam Fisher PS3 shenanigans. But we saw it Michael. It was there. Look!

We’re not going to drag this one up again. People are either grossly inefficient when setting up their LinkedIn profiles or are literally not told by their employer that secret information shouldn’t be broadcast to the world on the Internet. Both are hard to swallow if we’re being honest, so let’s just flag this as more smoke to this perpetual rumour. We’ll keep an eye out for some actual flames. Until then, Splinter Cell: Conviction is exclusive to the Xbox360.
Finally, this recent correction isn’t the only tinkering the animator has made to his profile of late. The above “New Assassins Creed title (2010)” entry has now been replaced with “New Title (2010).” The fact that he spelt numerous franchises wrong, however, (it’s Assassin’s Creed, not Assassins Creed, and we’re pretty sure Splinter Cell is not one word) suggests the aforementioned possibility of a man who’s simply a bit free and easy with his keyboard. We’re assuming his 3D skills are a lot better.
