Naconhave announced the next game in the MXGP series, the official video game of the FIM Motocross World Championship.
The game now runs in Unreal Engine 5, allowing for “striking photorealism through wide environmental shots, ultra-detailed mud textures under the rain, and precise mechanical close-ups.” Phwoar, eh lads? Mechanical close-ups! Woof woof!
It also has new motorcycle physics and new animations so “the rider reacts dynamically to the track’s terrain, adopting realistic body movements during jumps, flat or banked turns, and while navigating ruts.” You will also get dirtier as your race progresses. Probably from looking at those mechanical close-ups.
Continuing to talk dirt(y), the track will also deform. “The continuous passage of bikes digs deep, persistent ruts lap after lap, forcing players to constantly adapt their racing lines. Within just a few laps, the track is completely transformed from the start of the race!”
