A new trailer was sent our way yesterday evening, but sadly it got lost somewhere in a tomb and only by virtue of Ms Croft’s generosity do we have it back this morning. Thanks, Lara.
Let’s be honest, it doesn’t look like the usual Tomb Raider game but then that’s because it’s not – note the lack of the usual moniker in the title. Guardian of Light is a two player “cooperative multiplayer” isometric adventure, see?
The game follows Lara and her sidekick as they go in search of the Mirror of Smoke, an ancient artifact located in a ruin known as the Temple of Light, we’re told. When she finally reaches the mirror, she is ambushed by a mercenary army who takes the mirror and release an evil entity.
The game’s out as part of the Xbox Live Summer of Arcade, for 1200 Points.

Dont like Lara Croft games think they are boring although my bro loves em?

One of the biggest things about the Tomb Raider franchise is the awe of moving around the huge set pieces and being really high up. Neither of these attributes seem to really stand out in isometric view.

That looks great fun. Really great fun. Count me in.

I think it looks brilliant, almost what I thought Trine was going to be. The Co-op looks brilliant. Is it splitscreen local or online co-op?

Yep, definetly not a Tomb Raider title, but looks pretty nice. So what are the chances of this being free to PS+ subscribers…pretty please sony…
