Square Enix have revealed ‘Gun Loco’, a new title featuring beefy bunny rabbits. The game will be Xbox 360 exclusive and is a ‘sprint action shooter’ – presumably they mean lots of run and gun action. The rather bonkers plot is thus:
At the farthest reaches of the solar system, a collection of the craziest criminals in the universe are incarcerated on a remote prison planet with no walls and forgotten by society.
In this long-abandoned world, the only rule is anarchy, as each faction fights in a bloodthirsty race for survival, power and freedom.
Each of the characters has been designed by master toy maker Kenny Wong as a real sculpture and then scanned in to the game.
The game is a 2011 release and will feature 12 player online battles as you fight through the ‘ruins of the world’s previous civilisations.’
