As a heads-up (pun intended) the PlayStation Store, in Europe at least, will be getting a special Christmas sale as advised by Store Supremo Ross McGrath this afternoon on Twitter.
The sale, details of which are to released on the 20th of December on the official European PlayStation Blog, will run from the 22nd of December to the 5th of January.
Does this mean that you shouldn’t buy anything until then? Of course not, although anyone thinking of picking up Prototype for €39.99 is clearly made of money.
Let’s hope that there’re some tasty discounts…

I hope for 2 things:
1)The discounts are actually worth it.
2)The content that is in the sale is not super old like the stuff in PS+.

PS+ started out like that, but its not too bad now. We got day 1 discounts on Red Ded Undead Nightmare and Dead Nation. Not to mention we got some of the ‘newer’ psn titles for free like Critter Crunch and that little big planet move thingy.
I noticed that the US got all of the Sam and Max episodes for free today. I’ve got my fingers crossed we get that this month too.

Just shelled out £40 for a 13 monhts PS+ subscription, so I doubt I will be picking anything up, unless its cheap… like Lidl cheap.

Ever notice that every branch of Sport and Ski/Soccer etc. has been stuck in a perpetual state of closing down sale for at least the last decade?

I wonder if there is a legal limit on how long you can be ‘closing down’ for. Otherwise all shops are technically closing down in the same way that all people are technically dying.
