The PlayStation Store Black Friday sale is now live through November

Sony has kicked off its Black Friday sale on the PlayStation Store early, making the most of a quieter month for big blockbuster launches (outside of that one game) to cut prices on games across the digital store.

The Black Friday sale started today and will run through 30th November, with a refresh of the promotions coming on 16th November, and some discounts set to expire on 20th November. Confusing? A bit.

What’s not confusing is seeing a batch of the big games from September already being discounted, including Marvel’s Wolverine, Mortal Shell II, The Blood of Dawnwalker, Control Resonant, Silent Hill: Townfall, and the console release of Valheim. Admittedly, this is primarily the deluxe editions going on sale, in some cases dipping those higher-priced versions to just under that of an un-discounted standard edition, which is always one of the lamest things to see in a sale.

So, let’s focus on the more significant discounts. Browse the lists for yourself, but here’s a handful that stand out:

  • Valheim – £19.99 (20% off)
  • Mortal Shell II – £33.74 (25% off)
  • 007: First Light Deluxe Edition – £34.99 (50% off)
  • The Sinking City 2 – £31.99 (20% off)
  • Silent Hill 2 – £16.79 (72% off)
  • Cult of the Lamb – Standard Edition £7.99 (60% off) – Sinful Edition £13.19 (60% off)
  • Beast of Reincarnation – £37.49 (25% off)
  • Pragmata – £39.99 (20% off)
  • Phasmophobia – £10.84 (30% off)
  • PowerWash Simulator 2 – £14.00 (25% off)
  • Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered – £24.99 (50% off)

Anything really stick out to you in the sale so far?
