Rockstar has confirmed that you’ll be able to preload Grand Theft Auto VI from 10th November, giving you a headstart on getting the full game downloaded ahead of its launch on 19th November.
That’s pretty good, because GTA 6 will weigh in at a rather hefty 210GB – as confirmed the other day. You will potentially need a smidgeon more than that, though, with Rockstar stating that you’ll need up to 212GB, depending on your system.
Preloading will be available at midnight local time on 10th November for PS5, and globally at 12AM GMT on Xbox Series X|S.
That is true for digital pre-orders, while the retail code-in-box versions for both consoles being sold from 12th November, if you’d rather have a plastic box.
Just in case you need it, here’s an FAQ on the Rockstar support site. It does not provide emotional support for having to figure out which games to delete from your PS5 in order to make space.
