It has been announced that the new Hyper-car kid on the block, the Pagani Huayra, will be exclusively available in Shift 2 throughout 2011. The car certainly has split opinion, with many lamenting the fact it seems to lack the visual punch of its predecessor, the Zonda. You can’t argue with the figures though:
- 0-60 in approx 3 seconds
- Top speed in excess of 230mph
- 700BHP
- A price tag of over 1 million pounds
Don’t scratch the paint (or I’ll scratch your face!).

Looks good, but I still prefer the Zonda.
Bit of a good win for NFS to get this over some of the other big hitters!

To the comments below (ha I got 1st post for once):
When you think that Forza, GT or any other racing game could have had this and now can’t they will all be a little bit miffed, especially when you look at Criterion and know that Hot Pursuit will be getting so much post release support and will be around for a while to come.

1 million? I’ll go halves with someone on a wheel-nut.

I’d rather buy this on GT5…. I just don’t like nfs

exclusive deals are not that big anymore. I myself, really dont care for them. I have asked people that use Xbox Live and it dont seem to matter anymore to them with these various exclusives (Ex BLops Map packs) Beside one car, for one game for ten months is pointless. How much did they pay for that? 10 Million US bucks?

Looks cool but think I will be spending my time on GT5 instead.

I think it looks better than the Zonda. Don’t care for car exclusiveness in games though… Next thing: soccer players will be exclusive to certain franchises.

The new Pagani “Huerwer-ua-ra-yuuuura”…..how on earth is it pronounced??
yzfmike
Jeremy Clarkson from a show called Top Gear had a way of saying it.

as a note. I really enjoy Top gear. I think its the best show out there, and I am glad BBC America has all episode uncut now.

I shall definitely be buying this game. I need another fun racing game, which GT5 really isn’t. I stopped playing that months ago, in favour of F1 2010, and have hardly touched it since.
Nice little coup for them, even if it is a bit pointless
