One of the best features of Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit was the Autolog. This social element added a layer of competitive behaviour one rarely witnesses in games anymore. The good news is that it will be making a return for Shift 2, albeit with a sexy ‘2.0’ moniker. Check out the video below.

The first game had so many bugs I don’t think they would have fixed them all with updates, and the worst so down I’ve seen in a PS3 game. I would give it a miss.

I got Hot Pursuit through as a rental yesterday and gave it a whirl last night. I’m very impressed with it but if you are competitive and your friends are good then the autolog challenges can be a little bit frustrating!
