The day Microsoft abandon Microsoft Points will be a happy one, but until they do rejoice in this week’s superb sale, in which some killer Xbox Live Arcade games get massive price drops. Massive.
What’s on offer? How about A Kingdom for Keflings, Crazy Taxi, 3D Ultra Mini Golf 2, Monkey Island 2, Doom 2, Zeit 2, After Burner Climax, the first two Alien Breed games, Darwinia+, Defense Grid and Gyromancer for 400 points each?
No, well how about Costume Quest or Faery: Legends of Avalon for 600? Quake Arena Arcade for 800?
There’s some add-ons, too – the Red Dead Redemption bundle is 1000 points, two Halo Wars packs are 400 points each and there’s a pile of stuff for your Avatars too. And to top it all off, Raskulls and Worms 2 are ‘officially’ half price this week at 400 points.
Go take a look.

Oooh, Crazy Taxi, Quake, Darwinia and Defense Grid.
I want those. I wish I had some money.

Quake Arena was an attempt at trying to create a pure MP game. Looking back I think it was a failure (compared to the Quake games and their spawn) but I guess it worked because I remember playing it. A lot.
That was then though, this is now. Is anyone even remotely interested in playing Quake Arena these days? Even an Xbox rehash?

400 is ok but what about a number below 400?
