As I struggle to catch up on all the news from GDC, I came across this little gem. With reams and reams of companies either going bust or in dire financial difficulty; it’s always nice to have a change of tone.
Q-Games’ PSN-exclusive, PixelJunk Eden, made a profit after just a single day of sales. Sony’s Susan Panico told the GamesBeat audience that “PixelJunk Eden made its return on investment within 24 hours.”Â
This is fantastic for a small independent studio like Q-Games, who have created a great franchise through the PlayStation Network. See, we do like some good financial news once in a while.
