120-160gb PS3?

An insider at Sony alledgedly divulged information that the nice folks over at Sony are planning to release a 120-160gb model of the PS3, which will be packed with the Dual Shock 3 and will also be the same price as the 80gb. This is just a rumour, and there’s no official word yet, however, as Sony issued a ‘no comment’ not too long ago.

According to this mysterious insider, the 80gb is to be faded out (along with the Spiderman 3 bundle), and will eventually be replaced with the mother-of-all-PS3′s. That could be double the capacity of the 80gb for the same price AND with a Dual Shock 3.

Now that’s a bargain.
