Who the hell is this?

TheSixthAxis.com is your daily dose of PS3 news aimed squarely at European PlayStation addicts. We’ve been running now since June 2007, have suffered several redesigns and have finally, for the time being at least, settled for this one. We’ve seen our fair share of disasters, a few moments of pure joy but it’s mostly been 13 months of rambling along at our own pace.

So who’s involved?

  • Nofi: co-founder, artistic alcholic in training. Getting old.
    Current state: alive.
  • Michael: co-founder, technical whizz, can be temperamental.
    Current state: in shock.
  • BeeDog: staff writer, new guy, has good ideas.
    Current state: Swedish, we think.
  • Rumour Killer: taking down bullshit one blog at a time.
    Current state: destructive.
  • GlennPFC: sticks his tongue out a bit.  Rational enough otherwise.
Current state: quiet as a mouse, probably dead.
  • CC_Star: Our new guy, hopefully posting a little more than the last lot.
    Current state: unknown.

How do I join the team?

We’re always on the lookout for enterprising, smartly dressed folk to write for us. If you can spell, say hi.

So what’s your review policy?

We enjoy great publisher relations but our reviews are entirely unbiased and are as objective as any one person’s view of a game can be. Basically, if you like the genre of the game you can rely on our score. Games are scored on a scale of 1-10 (although we still need to backtrack and complete the scoring on older reviews since the site transfer) with 5 being average.

Where do I sent the spam to?

If you have any questions about the site, please direct your mouse to the contact page and drop us a line. We read all emails, share some and post the rest on 4chan.

So this is like Four Speech innit?

No. This is an entirely independent not-for-profit PlayStation fansite and is not related to Sony or SCEE in any way shape or form. Our content and opinions are no reflection of those of any other party.

But you do talk to Sony, right?

Yes we do. We enjoy good relationships with all major European publishers. Except one.

So if something’s on your site it’s not official?

Unless it’s a press release or an interview, you can assume all copy, content and opinion on this site should be taken as unofficial.

So I can just rip you off for my blog then?

Nope. This site is licensed under the Creative Commons Licence - any text quoted from this site must legally be referenced via a direct link back. We won’t chase you for royalties or anything, but it’s annoying as hell when the ‘big’ sites steal our news. Do it ad verbatim and we’ll be after you, though, so at least fix the typos first.
